Embattled businessman owner of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM 1, has reportedly moved his nuclear family out of Ghana for fear of their safety.
According to MyNewsGh.com reports, Nana Appiah moved his son and wife, Roselyn out of Ghana to South Africa where he owns a stream of real estate.
His wife’s fashion and jewelry shop, Rozy’s Collections in East Legon have been emptied and closed.
Neighbours say the shop was emptied by a team that came around at night with three Tundras and one KIA pickup about two weeks ago to pack the shop wares.
His mother, Mrs Eva Brew and sister, Abigail Mensah who played prominent roles in the business are however in the country chasing their own debtors.
Meanwhile following recent incidents involving Menzgold, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ghanaians and some customers of Menzgold have been asking for the money gifted to the Chief Imam to be returned as it is believed to be part of the Menzgold looted cash by Nana Appiah Mensah.

According to a report by MyNewsGH.com, Menzgold, under the auspices of NAM Mission, in June 2018, promised to give the money to help set up the ‘Sheikh Nuhu Osmanu Sharubutu Educational Fund’ to support the education of bright but needy Muslims in Ghana.
The announcement was made when the Dr. Sharubutu, together with Sheikh Abdul Kaadiru Taahiru, chief of Dagomba and president for the National Muslim Chiefs, paid a courtesy call on Mensah in his office.
