- Paul Pogba is expecting is first child from his partner Maria Salaues
- The 25-year-old has been playing better under Ole Gunnar Solksjaer
- The Man United midfielder has scored two goals in his last two games
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is expecting a baby from his partner Maria Salaues in the coming months.
The Frenchman has got back into his best form for United since Ole Gunnar Solksjaer took over from Jose Mourinho in the past week.
The 25-year-old has scored two goals and provided two assists in his last two matches under the tutelage of Solksjaer.
And his partner Salaues was present on Boxing Day when he scored a brace against Huddersfield Town at Old Trafford where she showed her baby bump.
The France international endured a frustrating time under Mourinho who dropped him for three consecutive Premier League matches before he was sacked.
But there will be an extra cause for celebration in the coming weeks as the French star will welcome his child with his lover.
Pogba will be on parade at the weekend when the Red Devils host Bournemouth in Solksjaer's third game in charge in as many days.
And a win at Old Trafford will significantly boost their chances for a top-four finish in the Premier League next summer.
United currently lie in fifth place on the league standings with 32 points, six points off Arsenal who occupy fourth position.
Solskjaer and his men will also be aiming to qualify beyond the Champions League last when they face Paris Saint-Germain early next year.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that barely a few days after Jose Mourinho was axed, more detail about the circumstances around his departure have been revealed.
The Portuguese gaffer was sensationally sacked two days after Red Devils were beaten 3-1 by Liverpool at Anfield.
