UTV Brong Ahafo correspondent reportedly dead(Photo)

News reaching YEN.com.gh indicate that a journalist with Accra based TV station, UTV a subsidiary of the Despite Group of Companies, Mavis Animah Yeboah, has kicked the bucket.

According to Isaac Justice Bediako, a close friend to the deceased, she reportedly passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018 morning at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.

She was reportedly on admission at the hospital receiving treatment for an ailment.

The cause of death is not immediately known, but sources indicate she had been indisposed for some time now, according to MyNewsGh.com reports.

Her condition was said to have deteriorated for which reason she was taken to the hospital but never survived the ailment.

Close family members have confirmed the unfortunate passing of the former Ashanti Regional Correspondent of Metro TV who until her death, was the Brong Ahafo Regional reporter of UTV.

She left behind two kids with the youngest being six months old.
