Referendum for Oti region: Voters captured in videos doing ‘strange’ things on Election Day

YEN.com.gh is in possession of videos which allegedly shows two men engaged in unusual activities as voting was going on for the proposed Oti region.

Both men, who are not readily identifiable are seen spending an unusually long period of time in the voting booth.

One of them, after voting, then lifts the ballot box and shakes it, as if to ensure that his vote is mixed up with the rest in the box.

Videos emerging on social media purportedly from the area earmarked to become the Oti region if the referendum gathers enough “Yes” votes, show some suspicious voting by some voters.

According to a report by 3news.com, the videos where captured during the referendum for the proposed Oti region.
