The 2018 edition of Sarkodie's annual Rapperholic concert came off at the Accra International Conference Centre on Christmas day.
As expected, many Sarkodie fans and music lovers thronged the AICC to be part of what has become one of the biggest end-of-year events.
But majority of those who went to the venue were disappointed in the organisation of the show.
While some patrons complained of not getting seats after paying so much for tickets, others thought gates of the auditorium were not opened early for fans and music lovers to enter.
There were even some others who were not pleased with Sarkodie’s performance citing his low energy during his two-hour performance, his voice and dynamics on the stage.
These hitches have led to a lot of negative reviews for what was supposed to be one of the best shows to climax the year.
Knowing how some of his fans have been disappointed, Sarkodie has released a video explaining what really happened.
In an eight-minute video, the rapper talked about what led to his low energy on stage, his voice and everything that went wrong on the night.
According to him, he had stressed himself in the days prior to the show as he attended many shows and he got a cold and sore throat.
On the issue of the concert outgrowing the venue, Sarkodie explained that he and his team always run to the AICC because their options are limited.
