Heartbreak as Muslim bride Fawziya Abdulkadir Tataru dies a night before her wedding
The family and friends of a young bride have been left heartbroken after she passed away just 24 hours to her wedding.
The late bride, Fawziya Abdulkadir Tataru, was expected to get married at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 29, at the Gwallaga Jumma'at mosque in the city of Bauchi in Nigeria but she, unfortunately, passed away on Friday, December 28.
According to a Facebook user, Auwal Saleh, who shared the sad story on social media, Fawziya had attended her wedding walima earlier on the Friday before her demise.

The walima is a marriage banquet which serves as the first leg of an Islamic marriage ceremony and it is followed by the final wedding ceremony the next day.
As it stands, Fawziya's wedding has been turned into a funeral service which will be held at the very place her wedding ceremony was supposed to take place.
“Fawziya’s Wedding Fatiha was scheduled to take place today in Bauchi. Unfortunately, she died yesterday after attending her Wedding Walima. Her funeral prayer will take place today at Gwallaga Mosque where the wedding Fatiha was scheduled to take place at the same time (11:am). My condolences to Abduljalil, her family and friends. What a scary world. May the soul of Fawziya rest in Jannah,” Auwal said.

Fawziya's death comes after another young Muslim lady who was a student of the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in Zaria in the Nigerian state of Kaduna reportedly committed suicide.

Ashiat Abdulganiyu, a level 300 student took her life on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, as the world celebrated Boxing Day.
According to reports, the young lady drank poison over accusations from her mother that she was a witch.
