- Manchester United will host Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Sunday
- United have been in top form since the sacking of Jose Mourinho
- Sanchez, Dalot and Fred are some of the stars expected to miss the encounter against Bournemouth
Manchester United stars Alexis Sanchez, Diogo Dalot and Brazilian midfielder Fred are set to miss the Premier League club's crunch against Bournemouth on Sunday, December 30, at Old Trafford.
Sanchez has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since November, but resumed training after the Christmas Eve.
The Chilean star has been struggling for form since his arrival at Old Trafford from Arsenal, and is yet to feature for the Red Devils under the tutelage of new interim boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
He was in contention for a call-up to the starting line-up against the Cherries, but the 30-year-old looks set to miss the tie.
The duo of Diogo Dalot and Fred is also expected to miss the clash after failing to make the squad meet-up at the team's hotel.
The two were in action on Boxing Day, as they helped United seal a 3-1 comfortable victory over Huddersfield Town.
According to a UK Metro report, the Red Devils have, however, been boosted by the availability of Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial.
Martial was not part of the squad that defeated Huddersfield, with the French star missing the encounter due to illness.
On his part, Lukaku missed the tie after being granted a compassionate leave during the Christmas period.
Meanwhile, Solskjaer will be looking for his third victory after taking over from Jose Mourinho who was sacked after recording a string of poor results.
