The just ended year of 2018 saw Ghana being described as the tourism destination for black people in the Diaspora. This is because the Christmas celebration saw the visit of some top celebrities.
The government-backed event Full Circle, was partly responsible for the mass incoming of these celebrities.
The event was initiated to strengthen Diasporian relations.
But some of the other celebrities were in Ghana out of their own accord. They chose Ghana as their Christmas destination.
YEN.com.gh brings you a list of seven black Hollywood celebrities who spent their Christmas in Ghana.
1. Rosario Dawson
Tens of thousands of Ghanaians love their TV series. If you are one of them, you might have seen Dawson in Daredevil and other ones.
2. Diggy Simmons
Rapper Diggy Simmons is the nephew of entertainment businessman, Russell Simmons. He is sell also in Ghana for the holidays.
3. Anthony Anderson
Award-winning actor Anthony Anderson is famous for hit show, Blackish. He is part of the team that are in Ghana for the Full Circle festival.
Actor and musician of Nigerian descent, Jidenna, is also in Ghana. Jidenna has been present as some shows during the festivities.
5. Michael Jai white
White is famous for films such as Spawn and Top Cop. It is his first time in Ghana and he has not hesitated to have fun.
6. Nicole Ari Parker
This actress is famous for hit show Soul Food. It is also Parker's first time in Ghana and she has the photos to prove she is making the most of it.
7. Boris Kodjoe
Actor Boris Kodjoe is the partner of Nicole Ari Parker. He is part-Ghanaian and it is not his first time in Ghana.
8. Idris Elba
Idris Elba is also part-Ghanaian. Arguably the most famous of pack in Ghana, Elba has been at shows including Sarkodie's 2018 Rapperholic.
