A cross-section of Ghanaians have taken National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer hopeful, Professor Joshua Alabi to the cleaners.
This was after he reportedly called on president Akufo-Addo to vacate the Jubilee House, if he wins the NDC primaries.
The NDC intends to select its flagbearer on Saturday, January 29, 2018, to represent it in the 2020 elections.

Addressing party supporters at the 37th anniversary of the December 31st revolution, Alabi indicated that his win in the primaries will be a strong indication of the renewal of hope.
“I am very confident that by God’s grace, delegates will give it (flagbearer) to Prof. Joshua Alabi.
The very day they announce that Joshua Alabi is the flagbearer, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will start packing from the Flagstaff House. I am going to give hope to our people and the whole country,” he stated.
This did not go down with some Ghanaians, who expressed their opinions about his comment on social media:
According to Sam, he expected Prof. Alabi to be different.
Elorm added that he thought he had seen all the comedians in the NDC.
Bosson also wrote that Alabi knows he is joking.
Duut called him a 'stomach politician', adding that this isn't UPSA elections.
To Amoako, Prof. Alabi is simply bragging.
Zelato was however focused on benefits Alabi allegedly received in his capacity as board chairman of SSNIT
