Kantanka unveils new three-wheeled sports car (Photos)

- Kantanka automobile has unveiled a three-wheeled sports car

- The car's doors open by rotating vertically at a fixed hinge at the front of the door

Ghanaian car manufacturing company, Kantanka Group of Companies, has unveiled it’s latest addition to the fleet of cars in their garage - the three-wheeled sports car with scissors doors.

The was exhibited by The Kantanka Technological Centre of Excellence (KTCE) on December 30, 2018 at the 38th annual Technology Exhibition of the Kantanka Group in Accra.

The exhibition also saw KTCE unveil an advanced armoured vehicle fixed with a laser rangefinder, military weapons, exoskeletons, saloon cars, a customised limousine, a V8 engine block etc.

The three-wheeled car has two tires in front and only one at the back and it's two-doors open by rotating vertically at a fixed hinge at the front of the door, rather than outward as with a conventional door.

The exhibition themed: “Advancing the frontiers of science, creativity and technology through religion to transform society”, was graced by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, and other dignitaries including the Senior Minister, Mr Yaw Osafo-Maafo; the Minister of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Professor Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng.
