Some angry Muslim youth have attacked the church of Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, the founder and leader of the Glorious Word Ministry International, YEN.com.gh can report.
The youth numbering about 50 stormed the Odorkor premises of Owusu-Bempah's church in cars and motorbikes on Wednesday afternoon in a bid to attack him for prophesying the death of the national Chief Imam, Osman Nuhu Sharabutu.
Owusu Bempah, at the 31st night service in his church on Monday, had predicted the deaths of many prominent people saying they could only survive if intercessory prayers were said by Ghanaians.
One of the names Owusu Bempah listed for death was that Chief Imam Sharabutu.
Since the video of his prophecy popped up on the internet, Owusu Bempah has come under a lot of bashing from many Muslims who have condemned his wild prophecy.
Believed to be from Nima and other Zongo communities in Accra, this group of youth had wanted to exhibit their anger by physically attacking Owusu Bempah but it turned out that the prophet was not around as there was no church service.
According to an eyewitness, Caroline, who spoke to Kumasi-based Abusua FM, after realising that Owusu Bempah was not around, the group resorted to vandalising some properties on the church's premises.
The group, the eyewitness revealed, left the scene after some time.

In the video, the youth with some wielding machetes could be seen trooping to the church premises of the Owusu Bempah with some vandalising items including a giant sign post in front otf the church's wall.
In a related development, the kinsmen of the vice president, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, have responded to Owusu Bempah's prophecy of Bawumia's death in 2019.
According to reports, Bawumia's family stated Owusu Bempah’s prophecy will not come to pass and even if the death should happen, their son does not fear death but Allah.
