1. Living with someone everyday is the best way to know them

Visits and sleepovers are fine. But those things are arranged, more often than not, one gets the chance to prepare.

But when you practically stay with someone, there are things neither of you can prepare yourself for. If you want to live together forever, you better know people at their "unprepared worst".

2. Companionship anytime you want

When someone lives with you, chances are that they are offering companionship. Sure, you can offer companionship over the phone or any communication means, but physical companionship tops all.

When you know that a person is physically there always to hold your hand, look at you and talk to you, you will not choose phone calls and texts.

3. Intimacy cannot be underrated

When people do not live together, visitations are usually the only times they get to be intimate. Again, these are mostly planned.

In marriage, you have to deal with a lot of spontaneity. When you live with someone, you get to know their intimate likes and much of this come through spontaneous stuff.
