Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, known in real life as Michael Owusu Addo, is set to play a concert in Chicago, USA on March 9.
This concert is to make up for his failure to play a concert in Chicago last year December when the concert was called off at the 11th hour.
In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Sarkodie was heard telling his fans that they should make a date with him during the Ghana Independence week since he will be rocking the stage.
"Whats up fans in Chicago, its your boy Sarkodie. Again I want to say a big sorry for missing the first show" he said.
The 'Highest' rapper continued to spread the good news and said "Good news is we are actually pushing that show to the 9th of March. This coming March; its going to be Ghana independence week and I can't wait for this one".
Last year social media got buzzing when Sarkodie released a video to tell fans in Chicago that he had called off his show.
Many were said to have traveled from other US states to witness the concert thus fans of the rapper were not happy with the development.
At the time, Sarkodie promised his fans that he was going to make it up to them by performing in Chicago.
The date is set because the 'Adonai' hitmaker in another video posted on his Instagram page revealed that he will be playing a replacement concert in Chicago on March 9.
Sarkodie promised fans an epic show as he was seen in the video saying "This show is going to be epic so every fan in Chicago who got ticket and those haven't got theirs should grab their ticket to see Sarkodie on 9th March".
"Thank you so much for your support. I can't wait; the whole team is going to be in the house. The whole Sarkcess crew, DJ Mensah." he assured.
"Even if you are not in Chicago, wherever you are in the United States, make sure you rep in your numbers. This is going to be history so make sure you are part of it".' he added.
