Nigerian man arrested for allegedly killing his 2 sons with sniper poison
- A 42-year-old man identified as Samuel Sunday Otasi has been arrested for allegedly murdering two of his children in Bayelsa
- Reports claim that Sunday and a cousin of his identified as Levi Ayah carried out the ill act following the proclamation that the children had been bewitched
- The father, Sunday, denied involvement and claimed Levi must have been responsible for killing the children with poison
Reports reaching YEN.com.gh indicates that a 42-year-old man identified as Samuel Sunday Otasi, who hails from Agbobiri community, Biseni clan, in Yenagoa local government area in Nigeria's Bayelsa state has allegedly murdered two his sons by feeding them poison while they were tied to a tree in a bush along Glory Land Drive, Igbogene.
The police in Igbogene community, a suburb of Yenagoa, Bayelsa state arrested the accused after one of his children, Success, escaped the mayhem.

The 14-year-old boy was found helpless by the road side and rushed to the hospital where he narrated that his father and uncle had taken him and two of his siblings into the bush and forced them to drink a substance said to be Sniper.
Reports reveal that the father, Osasi, had gone to pick the kids of from a deliverance service in church on December 29, after they were proclaimed to have been bewitched by their mother who is currently estranged to her husband.
The children were said to have gotten into trouble with their father when a Yenagoa-based prophet, George Odoko, of the George Odoko Outreach Ministries, told Otasi that his children were wizards and were responsible for his illness.

In his narration of the ordeal, 14-year-old Success who regained consciousness in the hospital on December 2, revealed that himself and his siblings were led to the bush after they were picked up from the church service and tied to a tree in the forest, forced to drink Sniper and abandoned to die.
Fortunately, he managed to find his way to the road side where he was found lifeless and rushed to the hospital but his siblings, Miracle and Godstime, ages 12 and 10, were found lifeless in the bush by the police.
The police managed to arrest one Preye said to be the cousin of the children's father, Samuel, who led them to their house in Okarki, where the accused was arrested.
Osasi, however, denied any involvement in the act and claimed that his cousin Levi must be responsible as he instructed him to return the children back to the village.
He feigned ignorance about the death of his two children and said Levi should be held responsible for anything that had happened to them.
