Last week, YEN.com.gh reported the murder of Rev. Dr. David Nabegmado, Head Pastor of the Tema Community 4 Assemblies of God Church.

While preparing to leave his office to the church auditorium for sermon on Sunday December 30, 2018, a young man said to be his nephew stabbed him.

Few hours after the pastor was rushed to the hospital, he passed on while the nephew who committed the crime was arrested and handed over to the police.

In police custody, Francis Nabegmado was captured on video saying that he murdered his uncle because his uncle was into occultism and had killed a lot of people in his family.

The allegation leveled against the deceased pastor by his nephew was vehemently denied by his family and authorities of the Assemblies of God Church in a statement.

In the statement, they noted that the deceased pastor while alive did not reveal any sign of occultism or had he killed someone; thus the nephew's allegations were unfounded.

The allegation is what has led to the Ghana Police Service deciding to proceed and conduct a psychiatric examination on the murderer.

The allegation also seems to be having some negative toll on the family of Rev. Nabegmado and the entire Assemblies of God Church.

Meanwhile the church had warned in its statement that people should desist from tagging the deceased Pastor as an occultist.
