Behavioural scientist calls for help for Owusu Bempah

- A KNUST professor, Naail Mohammed Kamil, has claimed that Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah may have a personality disorder

- He added that his doors are open to the man of God since Owusu Bempah urgently needs help

- He also appealed to those named in Owusu Bempah's prophecy on December 31, 2018, to forgive him

A behavioural scientist and lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Professor Naail Mohammed Kamil, claims Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah may have a personality disorder.

Professor Kamil, who works with KNUST’s department of Human Resource and Organizational Development, added that the man of God urgently needs help.

According to a report by 3news.com, Professor Kamil argued that Owusu Bempah may be suffering from a mental condition known as Histrionic Personality Disorder (HPD).

HPD is characterized by constant attention-seeking, emotional overreaction and suggestibility.

A person with this condition reportedly tends to over-dramatize situations, which may impair relationships and lead to depression.

Professor Kamil stated that he is open to an interaction with the pastor, to enable him assess his psychological condition and give him the necessary support

He was however quick to add that his views on the pastor is not borne out of emotions due to the current death-related prophecies.

He also appealed to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the former president, John Mahama and the Chief Imam, to forgive Rev. Owusu Bempah for claiming they will die in 2019.

Rev. Owusu Bempah, on December 31, 2018, prophesied that Former President Mahama, Vice President Dr. Bawumia and National Chief Imam, Sheikh Usman Nuhu Sharabutu, will die in 2019.
