The suspect in the alleged murder of the pastor of the Tema Community 4 Central Assemblies of God Church has re-enacted the crime.
Francis Nabegmado is alleged to have stabbed his uncle Rev. David Nabegmado to death.
The suspect reportedly stabbed the deceased multiple times at the church premises.
According to eyewitnesses, the pastor was in his office getting ready for Sunday’s service when the incident happened.
The suspect was subsequently apprehended by the police and has since been in custody as investigations continue.
The Graphic Online reports that Francis Nabegmado was on Thursday taken to the crime scene to demonstrate how he carried out the crime.
A source at the Ghana Police Service said the suspect was sent to the crime scene to re-enact how he went about his horrific act.
The suspect was also taken to the house of the deceased to pin point where the supposed idols he alleged in a confession statement were hidden.
However, nothing was found there when they got to the house.
“He could not even tell the exact flat that housed his own uncle; he just tossed the police round and round from one room to the other,” the source said, as quoted by the Graphic Online.
Meanwhile, the suspect was previously referred to a psychiatry hospital for psychiatric evaluation after being put before the TDC District Court.
He is scheduled to be sent to the Pantang Psychiatric Hospital for the medical examination to determine whether he was mentally sound or not.
The late Rev. David Nabegmado is also expected to be buried on Saturday, March 9, 2019 following a consultation between his family and the National Council of the Assemblies of Church.
