Afia Schwarzenegger jabs government over Free SHS, double track programme

Ghanaian queen of comedy and controversial celebrity, Afia Schwarzenegger has openly stated her frustrations and misgivings on the free SHS’s double track system.

In the video sighted by, Afia said the fact that the students stayed at home for up to three months was worrying.

Afia Schwarzenegger believed that the government should rather allow parents to pay for the fees instead of it being made free for all.

Her fans have however taken to her social media page to express their thoughts on her stance on the Free SHS double track system

Some of the fans agreed with her argument on the problems the free SHS had brought to parents instead of relief.

@eraby_angel couldn't agree with her better as she explained that her cousin was acting all mature because she had a lot of time to spend at home before going back to school.

"Yooo @queenafiaschwarzenegger my cousin who is 14yrs has plaited her hair and fixed her nails... Because she'll be going to school in march... Their children are not part, they wouldn't have started this in the first place"

@adjoaakwandoh believed the Free SHS programme should be reprogrammed and paid for.

It should be reprogrammed boarding school should be paid for simple.

Other social media users were of a different opinion over the issue.

@ayeyi_minka partly agreed with her but disagreed about paying for tuition for their wards.

"I second what you're saying...but that is why private SHS is there if you can't afford the public school just take your ward to private."

@ahmarchoices advised Afia to do her calculations properly as the double track was the same as the normal system.

"Madam stop it way do your calculations well n compare to the previous ones the 3 terms they use to go"

@emman3512 referred to the post as a stupid one.
