Information available to YEN.com.gh shows that a police officer, Sergeant Saviour Senaya, has allegedly burnt down the home of his ex-girlfriend, Veronica Doh.
The reason for burning the house, which is located at Adenta in the Greater Accra region, was because Doh broke up with him.
According to an eyewitness, Israel Aboagye, Senaya came to the house on Sunday, January 6, 2019, to look for Doh, but she had gone to church with the family.
“The policeman went to the back of the house and a few minutes after he left, the house was in flames,” he narrated.
Aboagye added that a polythene bag was later seen at the back of the window and it contained fuel and matches.
“We have lost everything to the fire and had to rely on neighbours for clothes,” Doh revealed.
Veronica who now sleeps in a container with her family, said she had been with Senaya for about three years.
The matter has since been reported to the police who have begun investigations.
