- Some aggrieved Menzgold clients have taken to the streets to rain curses on some people
- They claim the company's CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah, President Akufo-Addo and Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta are responsible for their predicament
- They also verbally attacked the MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, for calling them greedy
YEN.com.gh is in possession of a video in which a group of people, believed to be clients of Menzgold Ghana Limited, are seen on a street and chanting wildly.
The customers, who are in the Ashanti Region, took to the streets to register their displeasure at the actions and inactions of some people.
They reportedly blamed President Akufo-Addo, finance minister, Ken Ofori Atta, and the chief executive Officer (CEO) of Menzgold Ghana Limited, Nana Appiah Mensah.
According to them, the Akufo-Addo-led government shielded Mensah and prevented his earlier arrest.
They also vented their frustrations and verbally attacked the Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, for calling them greedy.
They also allegedly burnt tyres in the middle of Amakom and Asafo Labour roundabout road, obstructing traffic and causing inconvenience to commuters, who were forced to use alternate routes.
It did not end there; they called into a Kumasi-based station, Abusua FM, and demanded that Nana Appiah Mensah should be immediately arrested.
In their opinion, it is strange that Mensah, who many see as a fraudster, is walking free, as they wallow in poverty.
