Counsellor Lutterodt slams youngsters who 'rush' into marriage; calls them fools

Controversial relationship and marriage counsellor, George Lutterodt is of the view that only fools get married immediately after National Service. Lutterodt wondered why people rushed into marriage when there is no maturity on their part.

The counsellor was on an interview originally reported by Ghanaweb.com. He spoke of the need for young people to enjoy their youth before committing to lifelong unions.

Lutterodt added that what is pushing young university graduates into early marriages is the fact that they do not want to be seen fornicating.

He quickly added that a fear of sensual immorality should never be a reason for getting married.

He has in former pronouncements actually encouraged a very physical relationship between partners before marriage. The bone Lutterodt picks with young ones getting married is with their finances.

He mentioned that the earlier one gets married, the more likely the individual will leave the marriage because marriage tends to be a boring venture.

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Nigerian singer Simi and and her boyfriend, Adekunle Gold, have taken their relationship to the next level by finally getting married.

While the celebrity couple selected Wednesday, January 9, for their traditional ceremony, they have chosen to do their white wedding the very next day, January 10.

Only 300 guests have reportedly been invited.

The white wedding is to be held at a private venue in Eko Atlantic was done on a rather quiet tone.
