Sources within the Central Regional Police Command have confirmed that it was a ‘friendly visit’ to the house by the team of officers from Accra and Cape Coast.

The sources did not give further details of the visit, except to say the officers were there to “gather information.”

The sources further disclosed that no one was arrested and that the visit was part of investigations by INTERPOL in the case being handled by the CID against NAM1 who has been charged with defrauding under false pretenses.

It is unclear whether the officers met the mother, Mrs. Ivy Brew, who is said to be the owner of the property that sits on a large compound.

According to the reports, the residents said they had earlier thought the police officers were there because of a robbery case, however, it turned out to be for NAM1.

They said they never knew that the big house which has been walled with electric fence belonged to the mother of NAM1, noting that they hardly see people going in and coming out of it, apart from someone believed to be a caretaker.

Meanwhile, NAM1 has reportedly been arrested in Dubai.

His arrest, according to sources, was not because of his dealing with Menzgold, but rather a complaint filed by an individual in that country.

Meanwhile, a video containing NAM1’s gold mansion and luxurious cars has been published on YEN.com.gh.

Also, a report of how he lived in a single room just before he rose to fame and riches, has also been published.
