- Prophet Nigel Gaisie has claimed he cannot confirm if Rev. Owusu Bempah is a prophet of God
- He passed the comment during a discussion about true and fake prophets in Ghana
- He however named some men of God as his spiritual fathers
The founder and leader of the True Word Fire Prophetic Ministries (TWPFM), Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has raised doubts about the status of Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah as a true prophet.
In an interview with Rainbow Radio, he stated that he is aware people claim Owusu Bempah is a man of God but he cannot vouch for him.
This came up during a discussion of fake and genuine prophets of God who are working in Ghana.
According to him, people such as Reverend Salifu Amoako, Jesus Abrantie and Apostle Bishop Elect Shabbat Ameniapong as some genuine men of God and they are his spiritual fathers.
When pushed to state his opinion about Owusu Bempah, he said that ‘’I can’t speak for him. I believe he is a man of God and has been anointed.
I cannot confirm or say he is a fake prophet because he is one of the pioneers in the prophetic. He is a man I respect, and he is a man I love; a man that I pray for. He is a father and a senior in the prophetic, he has been an inspiration.’’
In the year 2018, the two men of God clashed over a prophecy of former president Mahama winning the 2020 presidential race.
Whereas Reverend Bempah prophesied defeat for Mahama, Prophet Gaisie claimed Mahama would win the election.
Prophet Nigel Gaisie also went on radio to announce that Rev. Owusu Bempah is not his spiritual father.
This was after Rev. Owusu Bempah had claimed that Prophet Nigel Gaisie is his ‘junior’ who does not match the prowess of a ‘senior prophet’ like him.
