- They will, however, have to battle competition from Chelsea and Man City for the youngster's signature

Manchester United have reportedly joined the race to sign highly-rated Crystal Palace star, Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The 21-year-old who only made his Premier League debut in February 2018 has been impressive for the Eagles exposing him to top clubs who now want his services.

According to a UK Metro report citing sources at the Daily Mail, Premier League champions Man City and London side, Chelsea, are some of the clubs who have also shown interest in the youngster.

Palace boss, Roy Hodgson, is well aware about the growing interest in Wan-Bissaka and he is keen to keep hold of the Englishman.

United are in a desperate hunt to find ageing Antonio Valencia's replacement, with the 33-year-old's current deal at Old Trafford set to expire at the end of the ongoing season.

Whereas the Red Devils already have a formidable right-back in Diogo Dalot, the club is understood to be keen to bring in more cover for the former FC Porto defender.

Chelsea on the other hand are seeking to replace Davide Zappacosta with Wan-Bissaka, as the Italian defender is expected to leave Stamford Bridge in the coming months.

Meanwhile, reports on Man City's interest in the Crystal Palace ace emerged in November 2018, with Hodgson commenting on the subject.

"I’ve got absolutely no idea if there’s any truth to the subject at all," the UK Metro quoted the Crystal Palace manager.
"You’d have to ask Pep Guardiola and I very much doubt whether he’d give you an answer anyway," he added.
