The Ghana Ports and Habours Authority (GPHA) is offering a ¢50,000 reward to anyone who provides useful information on the killing of its Public Affairs Manager, Josephine Asante.
The GPHA said in a statement that it is offering ”a bounty of ¢50,000 to anyone who provides the police with information that leads to the arrest of the and conviction of the murderer (s) of one of the Authority’s Managers, Mrs Josephine Asante.”
Josephine was reportedly stalked and killed at her home at Afienya near Tema as earlier reported by YEN.com.gh.
Police say her body was found with stab wounds at her Emefs Estate apartment which she shared with her 12-year-old son and a houseboy.
She was reportedly attacked in her bedroom soon after she returned from the party on Saturday night, January 13 2019.
Meanwhile, Christian Agyei, who was serving as a houseboy to the deceased, Josephine Asante, has been picked up by the police to assist in investigations into the crime.
He is said to have admitted to burying a wristwatch belonging to the deceased, together with GHC 340 behind the window of the boys’ quarters where he sleeps.
The items which were freshly buried were discovered by the police investigation team.
