Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has emerged as a transfer target for Premier League giants Everton who wants the Belgian star.
Everton gaffer Marco Silva wants the 25-year-old Belgium international this month after his loan at Spanish club Valencia was terminated.
According to the latest report by UK Sun, Everton want the signing of Michy Batshuayi on loan with a view to a £40m permanent move.
French club Monaco had agreed to take the Belgium international until the end of the season but Chelsea blocked the deal as they want cash.
Last term, Batshuayi was a hit at German club Borussia Dortmund scoring nine goals in 14 matches on loan in the second half of the season.
But he was unable to replicate his rich vein of form at Spanish club Valencia as he managed to score only one goal for the club.
Chelsea on the other hand are also looking forward to sign a striker before the January transfer window closes with reports that Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain could join them this weekend.
Earlier, YEN.com.gh had reported how Premier League giants Chelsea reportedly agreed a transfer deal with Italian club Juventus for the signing of 31-year-old Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain.
The Blues are said to have agreed a loan deal with the Old Lady for Gonzalo Higuain to play at Stamford Bridge till the end of the ongoing Premier League season.
Gonzalo Higuain's arrival at Chelsea will also pave the way for Alvaro Morata to leave for Spanish club Atletico Madrid.
