My monthly pay for Normalisation Committee job is too small

The chairman of the Ghana Football Association Normalization Committee Dr. Kofi Amoah has opined that the GH¢ 32,000 given him as monthly pay is “too small”.

Dr. Amoah in an interview with Adom TV noted that his decision to take up the currently job was more of a national service to the nation.

"If it was because of money, I wouldn’t have accepted the job. I did it because it’s service to the nation,” he told Adom TV.

I’m not bluffing but even GH¢50,000 wouldn’t be enough,” he added.

His comment followed revelations that he take home $6500 a month as head of the committee.

But the astute businessman said the amount is so small that he regards his job as ‘national service.’

The Normalization Committee had earlier claimed they were doing a sacrificial job which earns them no financial rewards.

But investigations by the media revealed the committee members earn $4000 a month with the chairman of the committee taking $6500.
