Maame Serwaa makes appearance in new BBC documentary

Kumawood actress, Clara Benson, popularly known as Maame Serwaa, is currently the most talked about celebrity in Ghana now after she was featured on a show produced by British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).

The award-winning actress, speaking on the show, ‘What’s New’, spoke about her acting career.

According to her, she has always been on set and the only way she gets free period is when she has a class to attend.

She added that, being on set is great because it gives her the opportunity to meet new people.

Maame Serwaa has featured in over 70 Kumawood-produced movies and she has made quite a name for herself with the stereotypical roles she plays in these movies.

Recently, Maame Serwaa earned a new ambassadorial deal with KNUSTFord University.

As part of the deal, the young actress will enjoy a four-year degree scholarship.

She becomes the latest young Ghanaian to be featured on the BBC documentary after DJ Switch.

DJ Switch was featured on the ‘What's New' show six months ago as she spoke about the five qualities all successful DJs should have.
