Cristiano Ronaldo under fire for airplane photo on the day Emiliano Sala goes missing

Portugal and Juventus football star Cristiano Ronaldo has been slammed for the airplane photo he posted on Tuesday, January 22, which was the day Emiliano Sala went missing.

Cardiff City record signing Sala and a pilot were on a small plane travelling from Nantes to Wales on Monday evening, January 21, when the aircraft disappeared off radar in the English Channel.

And as the search for the missing plane was suspended in which the whole football fraternity was thrown into deep shock and panic, Ronaldo posted a nice photo of himself inside his private jet.

His photo was condemned by many social media users while some were of the thoughts that the former Real Madrid star might not have heard or read about the missing plane.

Former England international Gary Lineker who is now a football pundit led the attack on Cristiano Ronaldo for his post.
