Ghanaians shocked as video of journalist who slept in coffin during documentary pops up

YEN.com.gh has come across a video circulating on social media involving a Ghanaian journalist who slept in a coffin while recording a documentary.

In the video, the journalist named Nhyiraba Adwoa Amofa Osei, was seen waking up from a coffin while shooting a documentary titled "Slaying 6 feet"

The journalist who works for Ghanaian based TV station, GH One TV went the extra mile in documenting the choices people make pertaining to coffins to bury their loved ones.

In the snippet of the documentary that is circulating on social media, Adwoa was heard saying, "while some choose to have it all on earth, others choose to go down in style in what I call slaying in six feet".

She continued to speak about the creativity that carpenters engage in while creating coffins since some coffins come in the shape of objects.

"Creativity does not only end with making music, movies or poems but there are other parts of creativity where coffins are made in form of objects," she added.

Adwoa in her report noted that the coffins that are often carved in shapes of objects are often used to bury Chiefs and prominent people.

The video has generated a lot of comments on social media with some claiming they will be scared to sleep in coffin while alive.

@clementino378 expressed his shock: "Herrrh did you just lay in a coffin? Chaii you have experienced death lol how did it feel"

@marthaankomah wrote: "@adwoaloudgh u will kill us"

@pamelaboateng heaped praise on Adwoa as he wrote: "Experimental journalism!!! Way to go girl! Thumbs up."

@officialsikaboadi encouraged: "Eii sister Adwoa, I admire your bravery and courage wati. May the Lord preserve you now and forevermore. Amen"

@dennisbonsu commented: "Eiiiii sister I beg I didn't add this to your job ooh @monteozafrica I beg come and explain yourself you gave her this task?"

@cupcake_akudede also wrote: "Haaaaaa!!!! Woman!!!! Journalism with style"

In other news, YEN.com.gh published that radio presenter and host of 'Taxi Driver' show on Zylofon FM, Blakk Rasta revealed that embattled CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah cannot pay customers because he shared money when he had money.

Blakk Rasta noted that NAM1 who doubles as his boss, is a very generous man who shared part of the money that was invested into Menzgold to the poor, thus will find it difficult paying back customers' locked up cash.
