Even before the pain being suffered by Menzgold customers subsides, a new investment company, Winchester Profits, has been discovered.
Unlike Menzgold which offered 10% monthly profit, this new gold investment company is offering a whopping 12.5% weekly profit.
Their activities was brought to the public knowledge by popular lawyer, Ace Ankomah, in a post he made on Facebook and sighted by YEN.com.gh.
The company only accepts the first deposit of GH₵500, what it calls “starter” from interested persons who wish to invest with it.
Others can invest with as much as GH₵4,999 for the 28 investment period.
It also assures interested persons of referral bonuses and a full withdrawal only after 28 days.
The company is suspected to be operating in a hideout at Accra, and the public is hereby being warned against doing business with it.
Meanwhile, in other news, the embattled CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah, has allegedly directed the government to sell his assets in settling the company’s debt owed Ghanaians.
However, the government is reportedly hesitant on the sale of the property and has ordered Appiah, also called NAM1, to put that in writing.
He was declared wanted by the INTERPOL for charges of defrauding under false pretenses.
This followed his inability to pay back customers after Menzgold was shut down by the BoG and SEC.
Also, the Food and Drugs Authority, (FDA) has released a total list of 41 cosmetic products which are harmful.
These products, according to the FDA, contained dangerous substances which leads to kidney and fertility health problems in the long term of use.
The FDA has thus ordered producers of these products to recall them from the market
