- Chelsea vs Tottenham EFL Cup semifinal second leg clash hold at the Stamford Bridge this evening

- Meanwhile, Kane, Dele Alli and Son will not be available for the game as Chelsea were also unable to register new arrival Higuain for the match

Chelsea welcome Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur to Stamford Bridge for the second leg of their EFL Cup semifinal clash on Thursday, January 24.

Spurs will be hoping they can build on their 1-0 victory over Maurizio Sarri's men having won the first leg at Wembley Stadium.

England international Harry Kane scored the only goal what separated both sides from the spot kick as the north Londoners went ahead to win the game.

The 25-year-old has however been ruled out until March after suffering groin injury in the games, same as Dele Alli.

While Heung-Min Son will not be available for selection as he is currently representing his country in the Asian Cup games.

Unfortunately for the Blues, they were unable to register their new signing Gonzalo Higuain for tonight's game.

Which means they will have to play Eden Hazard as false nine - the same way the manager has fielded in their past games where Alvaro Morata failed to perform.

Chelsea head into this game on the back of their disappointing 2-0 defeat to Arsenal in the EPL last weekend.
