10 most expensive players of all-time made the headlines when they made their respective club transfers at different ages.

Neymar's €222millon move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 remains the highest transfer ever made by a footballer of all time.

At age 25, the Brazilian's move from La Liga to Ligue 1 is still the most expensive transfer completed by a player of his pedigree.

LegitSports looks at the players who made highest transfers from ages 16 to 25

1. Vinicius Junior (16-year-old)

The Brazilian youngster made a €61million move from Flamengo to Real Madrid at the age of 16 an has today made it into Santiago Solari's line up in the past weeks.

2. Rodrygo (17-years-old)

The most expensive 17-year-old is set to become Brazil's Rodrygo and is expected to complete a €45million move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

3. Luke Shaw (18-years-old)

The England international was signed by Manchester United from Southampton in 2014 for €34million and has since justified every penny spent on him.

4. Kylian Mbappe (19-years-old)

The World Cup winner drew the attention of fans when he left Monaco to join Paris Saint-Germain for a staggering €135million at 19-years of age.

5. Ousmane Dembélé (20-years-old)

Neymar's first major stint in Europe started with Barcelona as he attracted the Spanish club during his brilliant spell with Santos. He was then signed by the Camp Nou outfit for €88million in 2013.

7. Thomas Lemar (22-years-old)

Lemar was virtually the last player in the strong fold in Monaco to leave as the midfielder was captured by Atletico Madrid for a fee reported to be around €70million.

8. Paul Pogba (23-years-old)

A return to his boyhood club was certain for Paul Pogba who blossomed at Juventus before turning down a move from Real Madrid to join Manchester United for €105million.
