Ghanaian NGO, Twin Tings Charity Foundation, are set to embark on a 'Say No To Drugs' campaign in March 2019.
The upcoming event which was confirmed by CEO, Laila Hunt is said to be the second after the first one held in Madina last year.
Laila Hunt noted that drug abuse has become a notable vice in Ghana, thus necessitating the focus of the campaign.
She noted that the current incident of tramadol abuse is very worrying; an issue the foundation thinks must be addressed.
Twin Tings Charity Foundation is owned by two twin sisters originally from Jamaica but reside in New York.
The CEO, Laila Hunt, who partly resides in Ghana revealed that they obtain funding from a restaurant they own in London.
Twin Tings Charity Foundation began undertaking charity work in Ghana in 2005.
Almost every year, the foundation organizes a charity event that sees many orphans get fed and given clothes.
Laila assured that their upcoming charity event in March will go a long way to help street children and youth who are abusing drugs.
