Popular Ghanaian screen diva, Yvonne Nelson, has revealed that she is no longer in a relationship with her former British baby daddy, Jamie Roberts.
Though she refused to give details on why they broke up, Yvonne simple said “it didn’t work out” between them, and so they had to go their separate ways.
“For now we are just co-parenting; I am single and wants a date,” Yvonne said.
Yvonne made these revelations on the ‘Dinning with cooks and braggarts’ show hosted by Yvonne Okoro and monitored by YEN.com.gh on TV3 on Saturday, January 26, 2019.
Asked what her specifications are in looking for a new boyfriend, Yvonne said she has not specs, but just that someone taller than her because she is tall.
She decried being single even after she had openly declared on her social media handles that she was looking for a date.
Perhaps, this confirmation from Yvonne would surprise her fans and followers after she had been caught up in many lovey-dovey moments with Roberts last year.
After the birth of her daughter Ryn, Yvonne professed massive love for Roberts, and hinted that they were going to marry soon, however, if what she said is anything to go by, then that marriage would not see the light of the day.
While on the show, Yvonne also complained about being neglected by the NPP after “risking her life and career” for them.
According to her, after leading a campaign against dumsor when former president Mahama was ruling, nobody from the NPP called to check on her.
Yvonne said she felt betrayed by the NPP that even though many people think she belongs to their party, she has no benefits at all.
The beautiful actress also revealed her ambition to become a politician one day to serve Ghana.
