EOCO confiscates NAM1 assets including his mansion, cars, and offices

- The court has ordered for all of NAM1's assets to be confiscated by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO)

- These include his two mansions at Trassaco Valley, his cars and all offices

- All employees, friends and relatives who have property given them by NAM1 have been ordered to surrender them to EOCO

EOCO has secured a court order permitting it to confiscate all of NAM1’s assets including his mansions, cars, offices, and other businesses which were not known.

In a release by EOCO sighted by YEN.com.gh on GHOne TV, NAM1's two mansions at Trassaco Valley together with an uncompleted mansion - all making three - in the same area have all been seized.

Also, all offices of Menzgold Company Limited, Zylofon Music and Media Company Limited, and others have also been confiscated by EOCO.

The release further directed all employees, friends, associations and other relations of NAM1 to surrender to EOCO all property they have which were given to them by the embattled Menzgold CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah, also known as NAM1.

It concluded by entreating the general public to provide information on other assets of NAM1 which have not been listed so to have them retrieved.

This follows earlier report in which EOCO was said to have frozen NAM1’s bank accounts.

He had earlier been declared wanted by INTERPOL for ‘defrauding under false pretenses’ when he was unable to pay customers of his gold trading company Menzgold after it was shut down by BoG.

NAM1 was accused of operating a Ponzi scheme with Menzgold which had all four directors to be his close family members.

The four directors including himself, his wife Rose Tetteh, and his two younger sisters Benedicta Appiah and Abigail Mensah.

He is currently facing trial in Dubia where he was arrested after being accused by an individual of fraud.
