He added that he had always had great faith in God as well as a clean heart and that these attributes paved way for God to use him to secure peace in the town.

According to the president, Alhassan is a dynamic, strong-willed and a woman of many parts who strongly supported her late husband, Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko.
He further noted that her assumption of the seat as MP for the constituency would give her the opportunity to continue the good works of her late husband.
He therefore called on the delegates vote massively for her on Thursday, January 31, 2019.
Taking her turn to speak, Alhassan, who was full of praise for the president and the vice president, Mahamudu Bawumia, said she had a special programme for the people in the constituency.
She explained that the programme is referred to as “SSSWY”, which stands for Security, Sanitation, Scholarship Scheme, Women and Children Empowerment and Youth Entrepreneurship.
She added that she will work closely with the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) and District Chief Executive (DCE) in the constituency to deliver the SSSWY agenda she has set for Ayawaso West Wougon.
