Ghana's Sulley Muntari signs for Albacete

Ghanaian international Sulley Ali Muntari has joined Spanish second-tier side Albacete.

According to a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Ghanasoccernet.com, the 34-year-old midfielder penned a one-year deal.

Muntari has been without a club since leaving Deportivo La Coruna last summer.

The box-to-box midfielder has returned to the pitch for the first time in over six months.

The former AC and Inter Milan star is not new to Spanish football having played for Deportivo.

Muntari has played for club's like, AC Milan, Sunderland and Inter Milan.

Albacete becomes the ninth club Muntari has signed for since signing his first professional contract in 2002.

YEN.com.gh had earlier reported how Ghanaian football stars have made moves in the ongoing transfer window.

The likes of Kevin-Prince and Samuel Inkoom have signed for new clubs in the January 2019 transfer window.
