New crop of actors use black magic to stay relevant in the industry - Fred Amugi

Veteran actor, Fred Amugi, has claimed that the new crop of actors and actresses in the Ghanaian movie industry use black magic popularly known as “juju” to stay relevant.

According to him, a lot of people were working with black magic so as to secure roles to play and always be noticed.

He said due to jealousy, even directors and film producers indulge in the act.

“It’s coming to my knowing that people are working out through black magic. And that goes with the present crop of actors. Even among the producers and directors,” Amugi told host of Starr Chat Bola Ray.

He added that he gets a lot of attention these days in the movie industry.

Amugi said it was as a result of praying fervently and also doing good.

Commenting on intimacy for roles in the movie industry, he said that was an issue in every profession that involved dealing with people.

“As for that area, I’ll say it’s in every profession. It’s everywhere,” he said.

Rosemond Brown, had earlier said she had an affair with the veteran actor, when she was still finding her feet in the movie industry.
