He described the masked security personnel who allegedly assaulted the voters as cowards who wanted to oppress the will of the people.

A while ago, I was at the Legon and 37 Military Hospitals where I visited victims of today's NPP-sponsored terror and violent attack on Ghana's democracy,” the MP wrote.

I am inspired that despite their injuries, sustained from targeted gun shots, the bullets could not kill their resolve to defend our Constitution and resist oppressor’s rule.

“I wish you all a speedy recovery, for you are the real heroes - not the cowards who had to mask their faces to perpetrate this injustice.

“Ghana is grateful to the gallant doctors and medical staff for their exemplary professionalism. Thankfully, throughout history - the people have always defeated all-die-be-die despotic regimes.”
