The Member of Parliament (MP) for Kumbungu, Ras Mubarak, has cautioned members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) against coming to his house.
Peacefmonline reports that he said he would have responded in an equal measure if the shooting incident near the house of the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary candidate, Delali Kwasi Brempong, occurred near his house.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported of shots of gunfire after some armed men stormed Brempong’s home to search for people with weapons.
Mubarak declared that there would have been a bloodbath if some people dare to enter his home, as the incident was an affront to Ghana’s democracy.
Speaking on Okay FM's 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, he explained that he would have shot at anyone trespassing on his property.
"If you trespass on my house, you are dead; I will kill you if you dare me," he warned.
He added that it has become a challenge to restrain some boys who are waiting for the greenlight to attack.
In that regard, he went on, he is ready to prove that there are proper ammunitions that can be used if the need arises.
Lydia Seyram Alhassan won the by-elections, even though it was fraught with various incidences of violence.
Those who were injured were rushed to the hospital and Former president Mahama paid a visit to some of them.
