I was born NDC and will remain NDC - Mzbel

Ghanaian musician Mzbel, known in real life as Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah has said she was born into the National Democratic Congress party and will remain a member.

In a post that YEN.com.gh sighted on Mzbel's Instagram page, the '16 Years' hitmaker noted that she was born NDC and will remain NDC till she dies.

Her comments came as a response to a story about how she purportedly lost everything due to supporting NDC.

Mzbel noted that the story was false and that she did not lose anything after throwing her support behind NDC like the story captioned.

In the Instagram post, she wrote "Another twisted headline! I didn't lose s*** for supporting my own political party. I was born NDC and will remain NDC till I die!"

The post reveals that Mzbel was not excited about the headline of the story that said she lost a lot supporting NDC.

Mzbel as part of the Instagram post, also wrote, "Everything I'm going through right now is a deliberate sabotage but I don't give a 4k."

Social media users on reading the post reacted:

@jayforjuliet advised: "You are a musician, be in your lane and let politicians be on their lane. Mind you, you have fans from all the political parties in GH, and not only in ndc."

@eric_adom_frimpong teased: "If you don’t know ask Mr Beautiful what kumawood did to him next time be wise and play a game of wisdom."

@jay_baddo in support wrote "They always wanna bring u down, and that won’t happen. God bless you."

@abenaprempeh1 had this to say: "I love you to the max darling don't worry enemies are not God."

@ghanaian_star commented: "I Just LOVE YOU. A strong woman who picks her battles wisely, but make no mistake, she won't let you tarnish her image. You are a QUEEN!"

YEN.com.gh cannot say exactly what Mzbel is going through but it seems the musician is having a tough time which she is attributing to sabotage from some quarters.

Even though for few years now Mzbel does not seem to be having her peak in the music business, she has been in the news for other reasons.

Recently, Mzbel said that President Akufo-Addo has disappointed Ghanaians since he has not honour his promises made to Ghanaians.
