Aggrieved customers of Menzgold Ghana Limited have threatened to deal with anyone involved in the mess that has led to their investments being locked up.
The gold dealership firm has been out of operation due to its problems with the various state institutions.
To this end, the monies of most customers remain locked up despite several attempts to retrieve their investments.
There have been a series of protests and demonstrations in Accra and Kumasi by some of the aggrieved customers who have called on the government to step in to save the situation.
But in a latest protest, one of the aggrieved customers said anyone involved in the Menzgold mess will not be spared.
Speaking to Joy News, she said the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has not done enough in seizing Nana Appiah Mensah’s assets.
“They want us to be tired so that they can sit on the money and we are not going to allow that. I don’t think the money can just disappear into thin air. And even if he has made some properties, those properties should be here and they should be able to trace all the properties,” she said.
“We are coming full speed; whoever is involved in this mess will not be spared. We are going to fight. Even is we will shed blood just to get our monies. We worked for it so we need our blood,” she added.
Menzgold has had to deal with a lot of trouble following disagreements with the Bank of Ghana (BoG) regarding its operations.
Currently, the company has been forced to halt its collectibles and all other new businesses related to its gold vault market.
Meanwhile, the CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah has been declared wanted after an Accra Circuit Court issued a warrant for his arrest, while the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has also frozen his accounts.
