Ghanaian international, Kevin Prince Boateng has told SkySports Italia that he believes in the Almighty God but he is not too religious.

The on-loan Barcelona forward revealed that even though he may not be so much into praying, he wants his son to be very religious.

"I certainly believe in something bigger that sets it all up for us, but I do not pray much, I have taught my son Maddox to pray, although I do not usually pray for him, I want him to pray and believe because it is very important it helps you in so many things," he said.

The 31-year-old also described playing with Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi as “magical” .

I can honestly tell you that playing against Messi is very difficult. But seeing him now on the field is magical. He can do everything on his own, it is incredible,” he opined.

The German born Ghanaian forward is currently on loan at Barcelona from Sassuolo after an incredible journey in his football career.

Boateng's move to Barcelona surprised many football pundits but the former AC Milan marksman's quality has never been in doubt.
