MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has swiftly replied the late Ahmed Hussein-Suale’s family over the latter's recent comments.
Following the killing of Ahmed, Agyapong in an interview announced that he will give GH¢100,000 prize to anyone who can help find the killers.
But Ahmed’s family said they feel insulted by Agyapong’s gesture which they also described as a move by the MP to divert attention.

However, in an audio which has gone viral, the controversial lawmaker said Ahmed’s family want to tarnish his image after the death of the investigative journalist.
“What have I said to irritate anyone? I don’t understand. Nobody can threaten me, I would not allow myself to be accused of something I know nothing about.
“They cannot threaten me by using this stupid paper. This guy who did the press conference is stupid, this is about a dead person and you go around organising a silly press conference. I am not scared of anyone," Kennedy Agyapong said.
