Let us be patient with Akufo-Addo - Yvonne Nelson

Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, has called on Ghanaians to be patient with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Many have spoken about the hardship in the country since Akufo-Addo was sworn in as president in 2017.

But according to the vociferous actress, Ghanaians should have confidence in Akufo-Addo and indicated that she was optimistic he will turn things around.

YEN.com.gh had earlier reported a story about Yvonne saying that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) does not care about her.

The popular actress has been tagged as an NPP person since she organised a peaceful demonstration in 2015 against the then-NDC government led by John Mahama over the crippling power crisis that plagued the country at the time.

Dubbed the 'Dumsor Vigil', the protest march saw many other celebrities join Nelson in what became one of the biggest demonstrations against Mahama's government.
