- NDC stalwart, Ama Benyiwa Doe, has criticised Akufo-Addo's government and referred to it as terrible
- She added that she supports John Mahama's "boot-for-boot" comment in the wake of the violence that occurred during the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election
- Doe went on to say that Akufo-Addo is a dictator who listens to no one
A former member of the Council of State, Ama Benyiwa Doe, has lashed out at the Akufo-Addo-led government for what she refers to as terrible governance.
According to her, President Akufo-Addo is a dictator who does not listen when being spoken to.
Peacefmnoline.com reports that she claimed the current system of governance was an appalling and primitive system of governance with no proper structures.
Speaking on NEAT FM’s Ghana Montie programme, Doe added that the president had ignored the issues in the country.
This, she explained, was to deliberating force the opposition parties to cower in opposition, as such people are not allowed to talk.
Doe went ahead to say that former president John Mahama was right in saying that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will match the NPP boot for boot during the 2020 elections.
Mahama’s comments came in the wake of reports of violence that plagued the by-election held at the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency.
“Yes, we will offer no compromises in a political staredown. We are tired of them. I agree with what Mahama said. 2020 will be deadly if.... We will fight them NPP if they try anything silly,” she said.
