Radio and TV presenter, Caroline Sampson, has stated that she makes more money than most of other women we may describe as celebrities, and that she does not make a lot of noise about that.
According to the former Miss Malaika pageant contestant, although she stays out of controversies on social media, it says nothing about how much she is actually earning.
She is quoted as saying to Zionfelix.net: "Sometimes I wonder if it is true that if you don’t make noise, you don’t get paid because I don’t make noise on social media but I get paid a lot, like unbelievable."
Sampson continued by saying that, she does not believe most of her colleagues who make noise on social media really make the cash they boast about or at least, lead people to believe they have.
Checks by YEN.com.gh of the businesses by Sampson show that apart from her media profession, she deals in car importation. She is also a brand ambassador for multiple corporate bodies.
Meanwhile, television news anchor, Nana Aba Anamoah, has expressed her disgust with the shaming of Ayawaso West Wuogon lawmaker, Lydia Alhassan, by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) members in Parliament.
Anamoah got on Twitter to say how disappointed she was with the NDC MPs, tweeting: "Someone sat down in the middle of the night, racked his/her brain and came up with BLOODY WIDOW?. And the Minority caucus thought ‘Oh, what a genius!’ oh Lord. NDC MPs no try for this one."
The celebrated journalist even asked in one of the tweets: "Whose father/mother came up with BLOODY WIDOW for the Minority".
