Some supporters of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have paid a courtesy call on Reverend Obofour ahead of the club’s crucial continental game against Zesco United.
Kotoko will host the Zambian side in the CAF Confederations Cup on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the iconic Baba Yara stadium.
Ahead of the crucial game, some Kotoko fans hit the streets to whip up interest and to mobilise more fans to attend the game.
One of the personalities they visited was the founder and leader of Believers of Anointed Palace Chapel, Rev. Obofour.
The popular pastor was presented with a customized jersey from Kotoko’s kit suppliers, Strike.
The move was led by Edwin Okyere Boateng, Evans Owusu and Frank Appiah, a sports journalist.
The Kumasi-based side suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Sudanese side Al Hilal in their opening game of the Confed Cup.
However, the CK Akonnor’s men will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways when the welcome Zesco United to the Kumasi Sports Stadium.
