5 times Willie Roi was in the news for the wrong reasons
YEN.com.gh earlier reported of the death of the Artistes and Repertoire Manager of Zylofon Media, Willie Roi.
His death comes at a time that Zylofon Media is facing challenges, amid issues its sister company, Menzgold Ghana Limited, has with some government agencies.
Consequently, Zylofon Media was ordered to halt operations as investigations are conducted into the operations of Menzgold Ghana Limited.

Willie Roi, in his lifetime, was in the news for a myriad of reasons and YEN.com.gh has sampled five of them:
1. Banned from Zylofon FM:
YEN.com.gh reported that Willie Roi was banned from Zylofon FM as part of a house cleaning exercise.
It was alleged that the ban was also due to the fact that he had become an unpopular figure in the firm.
2. Stonebwoy is dull-witted:
Willie Roi allegedly stated that dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy is dull-witted, and cannot be referred to as smart. He added that Stonebwoy is a cheap politician who cannot compare himself to Shatta Wale.
3. Fight with Mr. Logic:
The late Willie Roi reportedly fought with Mr. Logic, an entertainment executive, in the studios of Happy FM.
The incident occurred during an entertainment show discussion hosted by presenter, Doctor Cann. The issue on board was to discuss accusations Logic and Roi had made against each other.
4. Punches holes in Sarkodie’s Advice:
Willie Roi was again in the news for saying that Sarkodie's hit song, 'Advice' was full of contradictions.
He added that Sarkodie is lyrically bankrupt and cannot compare himself to Shatta Wale.
5. Called an “old fool” by Stonebwoy's fans:
He was again in hot waters for referring to Stonebwoy as a 'Ewe Eagle', a description that did not go down well with fans of the dance hall artiste.
